Hi all,
My T5 shuttle has been diagnosed with worn top mount bearings.
I get a clonking/creaking when stationary and turning the wheel side to side.
It sounds like a dry joint as it judders.
The garage says it is the spring winding up and releasing?
Any thoughts gratefully received.

Bearings are about a tenner each to replace. Maybe an hours labour each side to replace.

Did you have to replace the rubber surrounds as well and is it a big job?

You'd be best doing the top mounts and the rubber bearings while your at it. You may need a spring compressor to get at them.
