[Dexter 45]

HAs anyone got any experience of using any of the following gear oils in their 6 speed manual box? I need to change mine and have been considering either:
FUCHS Titan Sinto FE 75W
FEBI 75W 21829
CASTROL Syntrax transaxle 75/90w

Have searched many forums and seems to be a bit of a minefield. VW and TPS dealers don't seem to stock OEM oil and many say its a lifelong oil in box which presumably they don't think needs a change?
Anyone experienced the same issue? ANy advice appreciated.

G052171a2 is the part number from Tps for the transmission fluid for the 6 speed gearbox. I change mine every 80k and it holds around 3 litres

2.7L iirc, watch out for the alloy plugs - make sure you can undo the filler plug before you undo the drain plug.

I drained mine and forgot to check and then found someone had knackered the socket in my filler plug and it couldnt be undone, ended up filling via undoing a sensor higher up the casing. Stupid design of the filler plugs.

I cant recall what I used but it was good quality.

MAny thanks for replies. As I don't have TPS account will be buying Febi gear oil which is G052171a2 spec.
