Looking good T:
Did you notice any difference with the extra door seals?
Mine just arrived this week, hoping I haven't wasted £18 !

That’s a great van. Love what you’ve done with it. I’d replace the skylights if it were mine. Much quieter & u get more light.
Really miss my old Clubman :(
Looking for another VW coach now.
1st dibs if u ever sell the Sandhurst? T:

For the skylight over the cab if there is one, I’d go for a Heki (mine were 400mm square) without forced ventilation. It’s the open vents that give that wind roar above ur head. Much more streamlined too.
You kinda need forced ventilation over the gas heater & hob but not over the cab I thought. WAY quieter & much more light. T:

Was never a fan of the debadged grill and the little gap it left, so got this from travelinlite

Still not convinced on the bonnet wind deflector, can’t decide if I like it or not ?
With you on the grille. Better with VW badge.

Deflecter may save you some stone chips?

The deflector will save you some stone chips so personally id keep it ....but theres no harm in removing it to take a peek at without for curiosities sake ;)

Finally the weather to get the awning out

Then off to pendle to check out an intermittent over boost fault causing it to go into limp mode occasionally and check the quality of the previous remap

Verdict - sticking vanes in turbo likely caused by soot build up, and a remap is good, can recommend Kenny at Ecosse Tuning in Kilwinning really knowledgeable and helpful

So moneys a bit tight so going to try cleaning turbo before changing it

My garage have just purchased this week

Here's the link https://www.forteuk.co.uk/power-clean

Anyone used this system?????????

Booked in for Saturday £100 fingers crossed if not its new turbo time:bhd
