We have a sony, a bush(it was free) and the avtex and we like the avtex .
Ours is a 19.5 from memory and about 3 years old now , only fault is the aerial socket is a tad loose probably from where we used to pack it away each time will travelled but now it stays fixed in place.
Yeah not cheap but supposedly designed to take the rattling around of being in a caravan/motorhome though i dont how others would fair to be honest .

Only just seen this thread, never seen one of these before. Impressive work so far, perfection takes time and it'll all come together in the end. The freedom and fun the van brings is amazing (y)

Cheers mate

Lots of plans, just booked, mightydubfest, camperjam and two weeks in Cornwall end of august

Up next for the van, hopefully new carpets, flatbottom steering wheel and a need to replace one of the cracked graphics on the side

I've just read this whole thread. The van looks like an awesome bit of kit. You've done really well with it. Very impressive.

I've recently purchased a camper van and also live in Scotland. I'm staying at Stonehaven this evening, Grantown on Spey Friday and Saturday, then Banchory on Sunday.

Love Stonehaven, my sister stays there so we were up there all the time, the fish and chip shop along from the outdoor pool is amazing !

Were currently at Hopeman, might be our new favourite uk pitch, this was the sunset last night

We are staying at Granton on spey on Saturday so keep an eye out for us
