Making the leap to first van, hoping to convert to a mountain bike weekend warrior Been looking around, and found a 1999 lwb 2.5td, 88ps with 169km straight pannel van. £3800

Does that sound reasonable?

My only concern is that I was hoping for the intercooler version which is closer to 102ps.

im novice mechanicaly, so would like to hear from someone who's done the upgrade, is a "pendle" and a new intercooler all it takes? new injectors? probably need to find a garage to do the work.

Just pick up an inter cooler and have a remap, which should see you good for a comfortable 120 bhp. You can do other bits as and when. T:

For value hard to say without pics but for that price I'd expect a tidy well maintained bus....
