Hi all

I have had some spare time and have been browsing the web for any new history on the T4 Limousine.

During my searches I have found a T4 V6 Limousine that was sold on the bay in March 2010.

Using - http://www.autotrader.co.uk/vehiclecheck/vehiclecheck.jsp

Data is as follows -

Vehicle Registration Number- MF51 DND
Make / Model - VOLKSWAGEN CARAVELLE LIMOUSINE V6 AU
Colour - SILVER

This number plate does not seem to exist? - K5 VWW

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/19574/vw_caravelle_v6.html

We have a member that has a TDi - http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=28970&highlight=limousine

Vehicle Registration Number - OY52 LNE
Make / Model - VOLKSWAGEN CARAVELLE LIMOUSINE TDI
Colour - SILVER

and then I have -

Vehicle Registration Number - Y57 DBW
Make / Model - VOLKSWAGEN CARAVELLE LIMOUSINE V6 AU
Colour - GREEN

So -

Two V6's -

Y57 DBW - 2001 V6 Auto - Green
MF51 DND - 2001 V6 Auto - Silver

and One Diesel -

OY52 LNE - 2002 TDi - Silver

I am sure you agree, it would be great to keep a registry of known vehicles.

If anyone sees any T4 Limousine's for sale, at a show, in a garage etc, please post the registration, pictures etc in this thread.

I believe that the range included a TDi Syncro, so hopefully more will surface in time.

So far = 3 in the UK

Thanks,

J.

I now have some very interesting data about ALL the Limo's that came into the UK.

The list contains colours, fuel, gearbox, tax class, registration etc.

If you are interested I'll spend some time on the list.

It is very interesting and would be a great magazine article?

Hi, I am new to forum but not caravelles. I have the first Limo imported in to the uk, December 2000. Techno blue, V6 petrol, 60,000 miles. I have owned it for 11 years and need a reason to keep it as I don't use it at the moment, it would kill me to sell it but reason says I should. Please talk me into keeping her!

The Limo in the Auto express article is mine, it was the first in the country, given to vw dealers in cambridgeshire and used for initial photoshoots then sold to it's 1st owner who then sold it to me, currently done 60,000 miles, V6 goes beautifully, see above about my current dilemma

Tha majority of Caravelles (your Limo and my Multivan included), use the factory lowered suspension (PR code 1P4). It then becomes 'sports suspension' if supplied with HD shock absorbers.

It's just not jacked up like an empty van, but not really what you would call 'low' either T:

Hi Greentoad

Long time ago, but are you able to share the details of the Limo's you have info on?
