Just a few more parts to arrive to complete my rebuilt and extended arms 2 (25mm) & 3 (50mm).

I've spent about ÂŁ30 on stainless hardware.

I had one seized knob on arm 3, I haven't found an acceptable quality alternative to the VW item so that's another ÂŁ16inc from the VW commercial main stealer.

I've found some M8 "wedge" washers which will match the angle of the clamps nicely but they're on a slow boat from China.

After dismantling and cleaning the arms they slide along the top bar quite easily! I didn't kniw they were supposed to do that 🤣.
