Advice please?
I've just bought a nearly-new T6 Kombi from a VW dealer. After it rains, when I open the tailgate I can hear water sloshing in the cavity, and (if parked on a slope) water dribbles out of the interior holes! Here's a video:

The seals round the top of the tailgate appear good, no obvious water-entry point. Any suggestions?

PS I've not drilled any holes in the exterior.

Get it back to them and demand your money back!

They will try and fix this 100 times give them one shot if any. I had a water leak on a car some time back, I had to get legal help to resolve in the end!

The water entry point for many tailgates is the brake light at the top in the middle. It is a well known problem but VW is too tight to do a full recall on it. However, if you take it to your local VW garage, they will replace the gasket for you free of charge. If they try to charge you for it, or if they give you a significantly lower priority than their other customers, then you should contact VW UK central office.
