It never rains it pours.

After my alternator problems last week..this week I have a severe water leaking coming from what looks like the metal pipe that the aux water pump hose connects too just to the right of the oil filter. (As you're looking at it)

Has anyone had any experience with this?
Is that pipe even replaceable? Part number?anything? It looks like at a minimum its front bumper/radiator off?
** UPDATE***

so bumper and rad are off and ive located the pipe.
please see the picture to get a rough idea of where it runs..

any body had any experience changing this? Or even better a part number?

thanks

Get the VW one ~£54 from TPS. Just not worth going cheaper. It is a pain to do, but with front off shouldn't be too bad.

**check for rust on the subframe as well - now is the time to sort it.! Mine was super flaky on the top of it. Water pools there I believe...

Thank you very much.
Replaced it. Put it all back together.
Only to find its leaking from the union that presses into the engine.
Any idea what could cause this and how to resolve it.
It appears to be in fully

clean the mating surface inside the block really well as rust will distort the rubber. I had about 4 goes at my thermostat housing until it sealed...

Otherwise it is sealants, etc, but they tend to mask the problem short term.
