the service reminder has come up on the dash so i need to put it in again,
but i dont actually know what they do, i know they change the filters and oil....
but what else.. as £200 ish is quite expensive for just that.. isn't it!!!???:ILU:

Basic service would be:
Oil
Oil filter
Air filter
Fuel filter
Cabin/pollen filter
Sump nut washer
Diagnostic VAGCOM check
Screen wash top up

Extras might be:
Coolant flush & replace
Brake fluid change/bleed

Plus of course visual inspection for anything worn out.

if its done by a vw dealer there is no such thing as a "full" service, everything has its time/mileage dependancy, inspectons are carried out 20k,40,60k,80k oil changes every 10k, 30k, 50k etc etc

all services include oil and filter change

fuel and pollen every 20k miles air filter every 40k miles

help or confusion lol

if im honest thats whats on a vw service list, there are some garages and mechanics that will do alot more than that for your money, but being a main dealer we service and repair according to vws recommendations
