I've just picked up a set of early multivan alloys. They're sort of flat with like slots around the outside. Anyway, the question is, can I use the standard steel wheel bolts?

Cheers in advance.

So the steel wheel bolts on my 51 plate t4 are spherical and can be used on the alloys? Any chance you could explain the spherical bit, anyone?

I think he means Radius bolts.

If you have the standard steel bolts 35mm thread lenth, Radius, 19mm Head
These can be used on the VW alloy wheels.

Get a large piece of bluetack push it into one of the bolt holes, just so it fills the recess & still gives you enough grip to pull it out again. Pull it out, after you have done that remove one of your wheel bolts & compare the shape. If there the same BINGO result :D if not :( you need to get some new bolt's. Job done T:
