Depends what you mean...

Do you mean... The equipment required to check the pump timing?

If so you need Vagcom diagnostic software and relevant lead, then use TDi timing checked function.

Or do you mean... You want to buy the parts to do a belt change (to correct timing)

If so most people recommend using genuine VW parts

Hope this helps...

Sorry if i was not very clear in my request .

I have found the equipment to time up the 2.5tdi diesel pump on the net .
Priced at 108 pounds from the Sealy range of equipment (1870 in there catalogue).

Just a guide on how to time the injector pump would be nice .

OBD-2 leads can be bought from ebay for about £15, some sellers include a disc that has a cracked version of Vag-com (tut tut:no)

You don't necessarily need a laptop, just a computer within close-ish vicinity of your van, and relevant extension lead. OBD-2 leads can be bought for either serial or usb ports...

Adjusting the timing is a bit of an art (so I'm told) so I left this to the pros, still worth buying the lead though as you get all the diagnostic stuff too
