I have a set of supra 9x17 with 265/40 tyres for my van and they do fit but need a spacer fot the door, dont know they might be just a tad to much.
Am sure someone on here will know more.

they`re not split rim amg`s are they?

ive seen a set the exact size as that

sweet wheels if soT:

wondered if they would fit myself?

if you wanted the bus slammed running 17`s on a a low profile tyre you wouldnt get the right load rating

i think they would need a stretched tyre to fit aswell

making them a bit unsafe even if they did fit.

would look the dogs danglies if you fitted them but wouldnt like to use them as a daily runaround

They are ET17.........and are HUGE!

just sold some turbo wheels that 18x11.... i know what mean HUGE...T:

thats not a good offset for something that wide if its far a T4:( unless your not planning to lower it to much or fitting arch kit);)

10x17 with an offset et50 fit well with a slight stretch on the tyres.

But et17 is going to be a struggle I reckon. Doable though.

i think its all about practicality
how often are you going to use your van
if its your daily then no
if its an occasional use show and shine build then do it

is your van lowered?

(prob guessing you have if you are looking at these size wheels)

wheels this wide will cause serious probs with uneven tyre wear on a lowered van

rear has no adjustment and the wider the wheel on a slammed van the worse the tyre wear will be.

inside edge will go very quickly.

not very practicle for if you use it everyday.

will cost a fortune in tyres

The bus isn't lowered....yet.....and they will be for occasional use only, show season really.

I'm determined to get them on somehow, but they will no doubt catch on the sliders, will they catch on the inside too, i suppose i can space them a bit....

Whatever happens, i'll have them and give them a 'furb, if no good, i'll bung 'em up for sale again.

Cheers guys........and hello Mick, surprised they let 'your sort' on hereRasp:

you will def not be able to open sliding doors

my wheels are 8.5j on et35 and the door just slightly rubs when opened.

your wheels you are interested in will be about 2" wider maybe a little more.

you can get projekt zwo spacers for the door though if wanted

there should be some info on here if you search for it with a link to a site to purchase them.
