Hi, I had a system made by a friend who is a race mechanic, to load a 310 kilo Harley in the back of our T5 shuttle. Two tiny brackets are all that remain attached to the front seat mountings when it is removed from the van and not in use. Our one has a manual boat winch, but an electric version should be easy enough. We have used it about 20 times, and it makes loading very quiet, quick and easy. The bike front wheel has a docking plate, and the winch post (which is between the front seats) clips out once the bike is loaded. The manual version needs 2 people for about 30 seconds. We use it to take our bike to SW France when caravanning. It keeps it dry and secure. The van is fine to use as normal with the bike left in.
If this is of any interest to others, we can ask for prices for more. A light weight folding ally ramp is used with it.
