i now have found a replacement aerial to go in place of the factory one
this is not a t4 aerial but cool replacement its a black mast just shy of roof hight.
you undo the o.e mast nut (17mm)pull out old one throught the inner wing,
add a little washing up liquid or wd40 or similar push on the new one into the old rubber
line up the old bracket to hold the bottom of the mast in place,
run the new aerial cable to the head unit, routes in place of old lead
then put the earth lead on to the bonnet bolt due to the rubber head the mast needs a good earth
job done
skill set req none time 45 minutes to an hour tops
cost how does 12-15 quid delivered (subject to how many i buyI
