Just picked up a 2001 1.9 Td , Rev counter not working and oil light coming on and flashing .
oil pressure sensor on side of engine is not connected to anything ( the blue spade on it and black wire I put on but goes to nothing at the moment ) originally there was just an empty spade connector ..

and the back of the alternator is a mess
the top plug has 2 wires coming from it but one is cut ???
and the lower single wire plug has nothing but a red wire the previous owner told me when connected sorted both the oil sensor and rev counter but does nothing
