Should be up for that no problem, but, will keep an eye on whitemansmagicweed, just in case it's totally flat ! ( will probably windsurf tho if there's enough wind, even if it's bang onshore and flattening the surf).
Please can members make sure their home location is in their profile ?
We really do want to make the regional meets work, and it helps to let folk know what's going on. Please also bear in mind that county boundaries are no reason for anyone who is close by, or, wants just wants to take their bus for a drive, to feel left out. Come along for a look.
Anyone with any suggestions for our local meet, or, if current dates / locations are proving difficult, please let me know !
Can't do Devon next sat / sun ! Looks like better surf by then than this weekend although a bit onshore (and enough to windsurf on sat !). Will be going on sun p.m or monday a.m though and back on tues.
HOPE EVERYONE UP FOR THE MEET ON THE 1ST !
AT THE NIGHTINGALE !
Sorry guys, first time i have checked this post for a while. The surf forecast wasnt looking good so i decided against goin down this weekend.
The good news is, work has started on my van this week/end. Built bed frame and cupboards and bought carpet today. Need to finish a few things on frame, hopefully soon. Will take some pics and post when i get a chance.
The bad news is, not sure if i will make the next meet the long range forecast is looking pretty good. Standby we could have some epic waves on the way!
Looks much better for surfing (although with strong onshore winds thurs thro' sat I reckon) for next weekend. I'm not about to knock the surfers / sailors in the gang, but many members use their T4 s for lots of different things, so can we all, ( myself included) try and keep the surf reprt / trip posts for "The Pub" or PM system ?T:
Any more takers for NEXT SATURDAY AT THE NIGHTINGALE ?
Be good to catch up John, you are more than welcome T:
Head down the M5 south from M42. Go to J6, turn left for Evesham, go straight on at two roundabouts. After second roundabout, The Nightingale is about 400m on the left. Beware you are right on the pub carpark before you know it (it's on a very slight bend and set back a little, you'll see what I mean !).
