Hi all

I have started to drive a lot in the dark, my new job is 40 miles away from home. I am finding the standard headlights a bit dull on the country roads. I'm in an 05 t30, my questions are

1. are these any good

3 do they really make any real difference

It says they are road legal: Road Legal: Yes ECE R37 compliant for road

Fair price too

those are legal bulbs, i upgraded mine to offroad ones which are 100 / 120

and these do make a difference

but arnt legal (on paper)

I dont get anyone flashing me so its all good as far as i'm concerned but its a personal choice, the standard beam was poor and to be honest they still not as bright as some hid projector lamps. Full beam is nice tho, you can see everything!

Thanks guys. You know what ebay is like I never know what to trust.

I guess for £13 I have nothing to lose. I would still be interested in hearing from anyone that actually uses these bulbs.

Hi

It's the wiring loom not lamps which causes poor output. I bought and fitted the kit from Martyn @ Upspex. T:

£45.00 including Osama daybreak lamps 1/2 hour to fit and not cutting wiring etc.

these bulbs are good and the ring alternative to the others, also try the osram nightbreaker or philips extreme get the headlight mod too makes a big differance see pictures below

hid are illegal unless you change the lamps as well as the bulbs and be self leveling, the standard lights with the mod and bulbs are great why bother
