Nice work

The 02M is a very strong box , have you thought of having a plate made so you can spin the box to the correct angle to suite the T4 ?

I know a few who have had them made so they can bolt the 02M to a Renault engine for drag racing .

You could fit 4WD then T:

Looking good :) Glad its not just me, I've been working on my van for 3 months and thats without custom driveshafts!

Interesting idea to use the 02M, I'd be a bit worried about the driveshaft angles, suspension travel, etc, but it gets away from the horrible van gearbox and the limited ratios. I'm liking the idea of using an adaptor plate!

Like the idea of the plate , but I think you won't know how this would work out till it's tried.
I found that the lower the engine and gearbox was the better the driveshafts worked
If the engine was kept as is and the gearbox was spun round it would move the position of the driveshafts forward and we all know there isn't at lot of room around there,

Yes o/s driveshaft is audi with swaped cv joint and I've used a 30mm spacer , n/s is stock from the t4 this side has more room due to it being a thinner shaft, moved front shocks forward 15mm on modified mounts ,
Had no issues with catching and happy with results,
Tying another gearshift mod tomorrow ,

Will get some more pics up with gearshift and down pipe if there's interest,
Hoping to totaly get finished this weekend ,
A couple of things to tidy up and fitting a BMC CDA as no room for the air box

The plate sounds good and would prob make the job easier
But for 4WD I have my doubts as it wouldn't change anything between the driveshaft flange and flange for the Heldex ,
In my set up the angle in which the flange for Heldex sits very high nr 45 / 50 degrees but I was not even thinking about 4WD.

Thanks very much for the clarification. More pictures needed I think to truly appreciate the awesome job you've managed here. I'd especially like to see those new shock mounts.

I'd also like to see your turbo inlet / outlet set up as I can see it's immediately different to mine.

Fantastic job again

not being rude but don't bother with the CDA box, massively restrictive on the 20v turbo motor. best filter to use is an ordinary cone, better still a honda S2000 filter.

If the standard air box would fit that would be in there , , , ,
Not going for hp
Gonna see how it goes over the summer
If all is good may forge and go for more hp over the winter
Are you going for 4wD using Heldex set up ?

Noo Noo , are you running 225 BAM ?
Will get more pics up over the weekend ,
I'm running an 20v AGU with bigger injectors, K04 turbo, intercooler on stand alone management. I've also got a LPG kit fitted. Rebuilt internals etc.

Not sure what the power output is but I'd guess it's over 250bhp. Had a few ups and downs with it but it's still going strong and the set up is simple and I know and do everything myself now.

I've got a T4 DUJ code gearbox in there and runs well. 6 speed would be nice for sure.

Out of interest my turbo intake is a really simple affair of a pipe to a cone filter located near the battery. My output side runs over the engine and down to the front bumper via and intercooler and back up to the throttle body (standard AGU cable type).

I'd agree that the filter isn't ideally located and may look at that one day hence my interest in your set up.

Yea going for a haldex rear diff, will have a standalone management for the diff. then converting back to a standard ECU but ran as a standalone so I can use the same clocks and keys :)

I too would be very interested in how a full Heldex set up would work in a T4
I'm not going to say that it carnt be done as it probably could with some hard work , but how ! :*

It took me four months to get my set up running and I think that I would of give up on the 02m gearbox but a couple of mates knew what I was trying and so I had to see it through,
