2.5 TDi coolant? Which one?

Hi all,

My coolant bottle says G12 on it? And I have pink G12 from VW which I used to use in my 1.9TDi Golf. However, looking inside the bottle it appears to be green liquid in there. Will it be ok to mix?

as above, buy new coolant. G13 is the newest. If you had enough G12 to do a new fill then I would still use that. But I wouldnt top. I would flush through with a hose pipe. Last time I did it, It was on a mates van who was having over heating issues,, I did the thermostat at the same time so I put the hose pipe in the header bottle, water then flushed through the head and out the stat housing as I left that off...then I did the radiator seperatly...ran loads of water through till it was clean,,,quite a bit of gunk came out...then put the new coolant in and topped it up with fresh water. Think it was a 60/40 mix. T:
