smear some grease on the rust ,
cheaper and probably more effective T:

 

I have used it on my bike and sprayed over the pipework above the engine as it was showing signs of rust. Not cheap and not used it long enough to comment on it.

 

I read on a bike forum that it's good for prevention of rust and allso acts as a rust eater.I looked on the web and it seems to be widely used in the aviation industry. As you say, not cheap

 

no experience of ACF-50 but I would treat the rust first before you apply the wax. belt and braces !

 

I will get the arch's sorted properly when I get back from holiday,it's just some thing for the intrim period.

Can you seal on top of this, y'know shutz / Gravi Gard? Just curious? :*

 

No as it is an oil based nothing will stick to it.

 

I have used it on a bike - it is very good stuff but no where near permanent.

 

So it will do till i get back (end of august)T:T:

if you have nothing else then go for it - you would have to wash it all off before doing anything more permanent.

I use it on the bike and top it up every few weeks I guess.

I'd still prefer to use something more permanent on an arch though.

 

The archs will have a permanent fix when we get back from holiday and anything left will be used on the Bandit:ILU:
