That's the driveshaft support bearing, the oil will probably be engine oil from the turbo area.
In my experience it's normally the turbo oil gasket that needs replacing, not an urgent job but keep an eye on the oil level and monitor the loss

 

aaah Interesting! Thank you. That is what i thought it was, so was wondering why it had what looked like engine oil leaking from it. makes complete sense.

The turbo looked dry from the top! when i looked. I have a small leak on one of the turbo air hoses. I have a new o-ring in order. (as well as for the filler tube) The air hose clips are solid.
