Hi this may or may not be a daft question but i'm sure i'm about to find out the hard way, I would like to install a cb radio in my t5, however I am not that keen on drilling roof for antenna wire, nor I am keen on running the wire through the door rubber and around the bodywork, so here is my question at the moment I am mid conversion probably like most people on here, I have the rear roof lining down as I am insulating the complete rear area of van, would it work if I connected cb antenna wire to inside roof area of van to keep it neat and tidy, and then would the roof panel body area act as the antenna being metal, has anyone tried this or is it just a dream.
