Cooling system diagram

Hi Folks,

I don't suppose anyone has an easy to read diagram of the cooling system of an ACV 2.5tdi engine that is used in a T4? I'm after something that shows the various pipes that carry coolant, and the direction the normal flow is in. Ideally I need to include the pipes out to the heatermatrix in the cab too.

The reason I need it, is that I am trying to figure out the best place to install an auxilliary heater to warm the engine up when it is cold outside....

Cheers

Look at that, that's just the ticket cheers! I'm looking at installing either a webasto or Eberspacher diesel - water heater. I was going to run it off a timer with a remote control option, so I can get the engine nice and warm before starting it in the morning. That way the engine is nice and warm, and it also means hot air is available from the blowers almost instantly (I think). I did wonder about fitting a blown air heater instead, but I think for what I need, the water heater would be best.

I just wanted to figure out the optimum location to tap into the coolant circuit. Looking at the diagram, I think there is an allowance for an aux heater anyway, so there seems like a good place to start!

Been looking into turning my water heater into a parking heater. And have a collection of stuff
Linked below is for fitting the official Eberspacher after market kit to a T4, it's in german though.

Socrates on here has done it already and his work is posted here

He's sent me a couple of other documents too. All in german but the pictures are nice.

Hi Guys

The 2.5 auto gearbox cooling. How is it cooled and does it have pipes from the engine for cooling.
I blanked of the heater pipes going to the rear and just looped the water from the EGR to the steel black pipe next to the EGR back of engine.
Car is going in limp mode and then I stand a bit and it runs again.
