Ok lets go about this a different way,
These engine codes seem to exist AXD AXE BLJ BNZ BPC,
Are there some simple differences i.e. does one refere to the 174 bhp engine, am I right in thinking that the AXD is possibly what is in early 2.5s (2003 to about 2005ish)?

I find a lot of threads talking about the different engine codes but I can't find out what exactly what they went in.
Surelly somebody could shed some light on this?

If yoy know what engine code you have in your own van what year and stock power is your van?

Any info is apreciated

This is some great info thanks guys (I will copy and paste Just Vanz info for future reference) its as I thought, there was a change in engine codes at 06, I have heard the early 2.5s had cam wear issues and that at some point the engine had some changes which made the problem less of a problem so that would tally.

Does the engine code show in the logbook? I cant remember from my last van whether it was on there or not.
