cut and relocate the mouning plate further into the chassis leg, a bit of fabrication involved

 

Sure your dampeners aren't bottomed out?

 

not sure on that either tbh matey may have to double check them that could possibly be the issue but when i raise the torsion bar 10mm (15mm on the wheel) the banging stops:*

Ah yes could well be will have to jack it up today and put a second jack under the arm and see what is happening

 

thatll probs be what it is then different shocks time when i can afford it then.ive lifted it up a bit for now and feels liveable

 

I run pro sport shortened shocks on mine the silver ones from bluebird customs they have been on for around 2 years and are fine my van is down loads well over 110 (can't get a jack under it ) is your van early or late suspension (drums rear or disk) after reading jimmy James write up I changed all my suspension to the later set up its got better geometry and lends its self better to going low. I also changed the torsion bars to purple ones and that made a massive difference

 

I've got a set of purples waiting to go on. Did you have to notch your chassis rails to get it low?

 

mine is an s reg mate got gas shocks on rear, astra mk4 rear springs, rear disks so would assume late suspension lol.i wasn't aware you could change your torsion bars, where did ya get those from fella. love your van btw remember it being on front page of t4 mag looks the nuts T:T:T:T::ILU:

 

I got the torsion bars from a breakers yard struck lucky they came of a LWB high top van. A pain in the back side to change but worth it. Thanks for the comments on mine its changed a lot since the mag shot and even lower T:
