Heater matrix replacement

Good day to all, I have a T4 2.5 TDi ACV which have always lost some coolant over a period. At first it was just a top up here and there and recently had to top it up weekly. I found that the coolant was leaking from the bottom center of the dash where the heater matrix is. Now the big question, HOW DO I REMOVE THE HEATER MATRIX??? Is it a big job?

It is a big job. The dash has to come off and you can count on a weekend. Remember there are 1 or 2 nuts under the bonnet on the firewall.

or, if you want, the dashboard can be removed, heater matrix replaced & dashboard re-fitted in a few hoursI:

also, as above, there is a suprise bolt hidden under the windscreen / central / accessable from underbonnet whereas all ather fastenings are inside the cabT:
