left side lights not working after plugging into trailer

HI I plugged into a trailer that had a short in the side lights.
Since then no rear left or side light left front. That,s the side the trailer light plug taps into the loom
Samll 7.5amp fuse below ash tray seems to be for all the side lights and its good.
when ignition is off and indicator arm is set to left side (parking lights) they dont work on left but do on the right.
I have exposed where the trailer plug taps into and there is no power coming to the side light feed wire
2013 T5 LWB 4 motion diesel.
Any ideas.
I cant seem to locate where the relays are to check them.
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks again guys for your advice.
I fixed the lights,on advice from another source.
I just disconnected the battery and reconnected it and hey presto.
It was explained to me like the computer senses the short circuit and shuts down that circuit.
Disconnecting the battery re sets the whole thing.
Worth remembering, probably for other electrical faults also.
