Well at least it went fairly quick hopefully you got what you wanted within your wiggle room.
Yes, went in just under two weeks. Not far off selling price.

Happy in this current climate and really happy it went to folk who will use it and cherish it.

Like your previous bus, it's nice to know know it's gone to a good home.

Now comes the frustration of buying another van because non of them will measure up!
I think that's why we are going for a completely different look this time. I hope I've done the right thing!

Yes, I could feel it when you sold your Yeti.

Definitely a Transporter. T6 or T6.1. Ideally a LWB high top. Bit niche I know... 🤷‍♂️

Looked into Crafter option but extra £3000 + to dig out the garden ( it's high so a LOT of earth and clay ) and extend the drive by 1.5 metres or so

Also would be into the £40 to £50K's minimum to build a decent late model face lift one. Maybe next time!

My mate ended up at £75K with his.

@Orion well done on the sale.
Without reading the whole thread again, could you tell me if you went with steering rack limiting bushes to stop the tyres rubbing on full lock?
I’ve just fitted 7x16 swampers with 245/70/16 Comforsers and at full lock it’s fine but at full lock and holding it on hard lock against the stop the tyres rub. I’ve seen these nylon stops from Terranger DE, and would like to know if anyone has used similar?

Cheers, still getting used to not seeing it on the drive...

I didn't change the steering or any spacing at all. Everything was stock T32 until I upgraded to Big H shocks and Eibach springs for the lift.

The van came with the 18" Oz Alloys already on and I simply went with the 255 / 55 / 18's as I saw them on another van and knew they wouldn't rub.

Got to say they worked a treat and were great tyres. As Suty says above, I would definitely consider a lift.

I LOVE your wheels. 👌

I love the look on those wheels. JBW were spot on at the show. Wheels, tyres, bolts, spigot rings, fitting, balancing and delivery £850! That’s crazy, it was gonna cost me £300 for fresh rubber on the Clayton’s as they’re on the wear markers.

Cheers for the advice lads.

Hi! Great to see you on here! Definitely a suitable name...

Enjoy your first test run and give me a call if you are unsure of anything. (y)

Nice café in Edale too. I bought the lithium leisure battery off the guy who owns it!
