Evening Everyone.
Your thought would be much appreciated. Thank you.
The brakes on my 2000 model 2.5TDI ACV engine aren't working properly as they don't inspire any confidence when braking hard. Also at slow speed the pedal goes hard when pumped and no brakes indicating a No Vacuum senario.
The vacuum pump seems to be working as I have pulled the pipe off and placed my finger over it and can feel a fairly good vacuum and also taken the pipe out of the servo and placed my finger over the end and have a vacuum.
In the last 2 years I have replaced the following
Black Diamond front and rear discs.
Mintex front and rear pads.
Master cylinder.
Servo.
Front flexi brake pipes.
Load compensating valve.
Vacuum pump.
Vacuum hose from servo to pump.
The EGR valve has been replaced with an Allard EGR kit.
There is a pipe which I assume went to the original EGR valve from a vacuum valve behind the coolant header tank.
I'm not sure where to go from here, I've been thinking whether 4 or 6 pot big brake conversion may be the answer.

I appreciate that its not a modern vehicle but the brake are not as good as my friends T4.
Many thanks in advance for any help trying to sort out and improve my stopping power.
Cheers
Ian
