Haven't just ply lined your van have you? i done mine and screwed straight through the mechanism. ????

 

No, not got that far yet.... want to get the door lock and central locking working before insulating, lining and carpeting.

 

Well thats all the useful input I got I'm afraid. Hopefully someone more useful then me can help.

 

Check the wiring loom under the drivers seat ! A corroded connection was to blame for my central locking problem. Easy to fix too good luck !

 

Thanks for the posts, I am going to check the loom under the seat, however I still need to be able to unlock the rear door from the outside.

If anyone else has some other ideas or fix that would be sooooo helpful as I am getting nowhere quick.

In the meantime I'm looking at putting in a central locking switch for the interior.

I'm getting brain overload looking for an amp and 4 speakers.

Also doing plans/drawings for my kitchen pod withe a rear c/u shaped seating area.

Help please.

I have got the barrel out of the rear barn door, the barrel is working fine.

When I put it all back together (nightmare with freezing cold hands) the key still won't turn the lock....

Anybody got any other advice ?

I had the same issue, i found the weight of the door after panelling in made it sit tight to the locking Mec i had to strip the door while closed and adjust it that worked
