I have a POD unit fitted in my T4 Caravelle behind the front seats.

Problem is its covering the Floor Vent behind the Drivers Seat. How do I permanently turn off the the Air source to this vent?

I don't require this Heater to work as the POD will get hot

Many thanks

I'd be looking for somewires into the floor blower and disconnecting, or tracing back to the fuse and pulling that out. Whether the same fan runs the roof vents as well, I don't know, but it's a start. If its like mine then there's a fan unit fitted under the off side b pillar (i.e. just behine drivers seat) which does the hot floor blower, then there's a load of gubbins above the offside rear wheel arch for the cold roof vents. (this is a twin aircon version in mine)

Good luck, amd let us know how you get on T:

Can anyone shed any more light on this.

I have removed the fuse for the rear heat exchanger.

This stops air coming from the floor vent and air coming from the ceiling vents.

Basically I want to retain the aircon coming from the vents in the roof so removing the fuse isn't the answer.

How do I stop the air coming out the floor vent but retain the Cold Air coming through the ceiling vents?

Thanks

The floor supplies hot air and the ceiling supplies cold air.

Why would yo want to stop the floor vent? Then you would take away all capacity for rear heating?

Just leave it alone. The van only switches on this blower when you demand heating in the van.

I cant grasp why you want to de activate it.

hi dude
dont you have the three rotary switchs on the b pillar, one for hot and cold and 1 for roof vent and 1 for floor vent, if you look under the van drivers side the blower is under the floor there might be a plog that can be undone rather than unplug the fuse
