A couple of strips of iron bar as can been seen in pics is all that was needed.

Took a few hours at most to fit.

Relativly straight forward.

 

Mercedes SLK

Was an all day job, lucky my dad is handy with a welding torch!

fixing holes on the seat base needed to be moved out 3cm and longer by 2.5cm, so old fixings cut out and metal plates welded on all 4 corners of each base

took workings off a t4 seat
took workings off the scorpio seat

drilled two new holes

and fitted vw runners to tyhe bottom of the scorpio seat
dropped on a base

 

Just picked up some Honda CRX seats that Ill post a piccie of when fitted..thing is they don`t have seatbelt clips fitted to them ..whats the best way of getting around this as sure others must have come up against this before??

60mm flat steel plate to extend width of existing base by 25mm
2hrs fitting time start to finish

 

MG ZR seats, also covered door handles n glove box with rear seat fabric. Easyish to fit but found the seats sat to high so angle grinded the seat base by 1 inch or so then bolted on some angle iron and mounted them to that.

 

Rover 620 Ti Drivers Electric.
2hrs to fit with 2 steel strips running across seat bases.

Drivers seat is a little high so will re-jig at later date

 

Got the recovered the front bench seat Easy to do, if you know someone who is a gem with the leather

Subaru seats from a 2004 WRX (I think).

Scootinstevey fitted these with a little assistance from me (but not much!) and all he needed were two 480mm x 30mm x 6mm strips of steel, and four 50mm x 30 x 6mm pieces to fit them.

If anyone has similar seats, I have step by step photo's of how they were fitted to the VW bases.

 

Here are my Saab 9-5 seats. Couldn't have been any easier. Welded them straight to the bases. Took an hour from start to finish (and no I don't want swivels) . And yes thankyou, my welding is VERY good

Novice should get help , took me a couple of hrs each day for 2days with help .

 

Audi TT grey half leather to match the paint job, fitted on shortend swival seat bases from CMC.

The dent in the passenger seat from a child seat just removed

didnt have any probs with these, only marginally wider than stock vw runners they sit on same edge, drilled 6 new holes 4 for bolts and 2 to hold a locating peg on baseof runner.

couple of hours of drilling, and a load of size 8 bolts.

 

Bit of messing to get my Audi TT seats fitted, but an engineer i know made some brackets and did a bit of welding. Very happy with the seats now they are in though.

Snap Rasp: But being 6' 2", I had to cut the runners off and bolt the seats to the bases with some angle iron welded to the top of my bases T:
