thanks.... probably pretty much the same as i have... i think i will draw a pure outline without all the body lines,,... that way i will be able to see better how the pattern works

 

what exactly are you looking for fella, I could know it up tomorrow using digitising software using the images above as a template...? Its a pity I didnt bring my laptop home....

That's the van from the local bodyshop! IMPACT about a mile down the road, he used to have a blue and yellow t4 thats on the same website at the bottom.

and yes.... thats more like what i was thinking.... and its funny u posted that pic, as 1 of the schemes i am doing has the bottom half of the van silver with rivetted panels airbrushed on....

nice to see the scale of that tho... as i would have done my rivets wayyyyy smaller. i have done 2 bikes with the rivett effect and i personally like it.

i thought it would be too much to do more than bumper line down.... but i guess looking at that it probably wouldnt

the other things im doodling with are chequered flag (wavey checkers) over the front... or rear... with the edge torn jagged (like the edge of the silver in that pic !)

also... a big splat...! i am looking to see whick looks best at the front and rear...see if theres an obvious best way round.

am gonna stay away from muralling this van tho.... keeping it relatively simple

I kind of jusd did them out me head so not sure how accurate but I've found them pretty useful....I've got hundreds of variations too...high tops/LWB/slammed/chop-tops/pick-ups/body-kits/convertibles/woody wagons and some pretty custom graphics etc etc and several different wheel types too.

You got any head on shots? The sealant in the gutters on my Silver velle got damaged by monkeys at Longleat:c So rather than getting the paint matched I was thinking of two wide gunmetal stripes front to rear covering the gutters each side......

 

Surf: can you do lwb? In all varaints? And Colours? With different wheels (Rs6 /4 all the different types?

If we could get the base images together I'm sure we could try getting a bus selecta program made (Folks: this can't happen overnight but we could work towards it).

Still working on trying to get a tech wiki sorted and some info areas together so any offers of help. input allways appreciated!

Still need any technical articles; these can be as simple as you like: removing doorcards to replacing wing mirror: anything you do photograph and set out and we will find somewhere to put it for reference.

Unfortunately it looks like the old forum had been replaced by a porn site hopefully only temporaily but theres little we can do about it.

I've tried to down load as much info as possible from the old site but if you did submit any articles please send them in to the forum email.

Things that spring to mind immediately are the egr cleanup articles and spocks converting rear barns to tailgate but if you have anything that you contributed as an article please re submit them: I can always start a article forum until the wiki is a reality.

funnily enough....not my last van.. the 1 before that, i had some sign writing on the roof.......it was done in 1 foot high letters.. you couldnt see it, cos it was up on the roof, but it read
