I love the third one, looks like the abt style front splitter available for the t5.1👍

 

Im leaning toward this one i think but not totally convinced yet. I think the 2nd one (sportline) looks a bit more modern?

 

I have the ABT on my van. Apparently they finish quite a bit lower down than a Sportline spoiler, so if I were going for the Sportline I'd add on the extra chin spoiler that's available too. I think these finish off the lower edge better.

 

We have been admiring yours 😀 I agree with the lower spoiler on the sportline which then adds to the extra cost. Been having some crazy quotes for spraying splitters at the moment - one came back at over £400!

 

1 or 3 for me, both have nice clean lines and aren't as common as the sportlines. But absolutely agree that sportline versions need the splitter to finish them off.

 

For me the third one. I’m looking at doing the same on my van. I like the sport line but they do need the splitter on them to finish the look. They are also a lots more common than the ABT, so IMO a little bit more unique

Bought the van with the ABT one on it - awful. Hung too low, forever hitting it on stuff at my old ride height and plans to get it much lower were being hatched so it was torn off. Then ran it splitter-less for a while, then added the Maxton one (option 1) but wasn't a massive fan so added the Sportline one. My personal favourite of the lot.

Davey, this is great! Now I do want to make sure I can go over campsites etc so it sounds like the ABT one may hang too low

 

And I love the wheels!!

 

As much as i hate to see too many vans that all look the same my favourite is still the more common sportline option .

 

Well I think Ive found 2 I really like after stumbling upon these 2 vans on my instagram feed. A bit more subtle - not as common, and havent seen them on a toffee brown van yet!
Not quite as deep as ABT but rounds the front off nicely!

 

I’m coming around to that thinking too. Good thing is, there are actually less sportline ones in toffee brown than abt! If you google toffee brown t5s most are wearing the abt splitter

 

Worth bearing in mind, if you're looking to go sportline and fit the splitter, this will make the front low, not sure how it compares to the abt style version though.

I'd love to drop mine nice and low, new wheels and abt spoiler, but at the same time I need to be able to go off roading like on camp sites or places where there are mtb trails so being "so-low" would be a neddy no no

 

Im the same - campsites, beaches etc and on 17s. I want it lower for look and driveability but not silly low. I may just wait and see what its like when lowered.

 

Air ride. I do all those things you describe (used to race enduro).

 

How do you have your air ride set up with the van for the tank and the controls?

Would be cool to know as I'd love to do it in the future!

 

Ahh, would never have thought to store the air tank on the outside!😂
That was the main worry for me if I were to do it, where would the tank go!
That will be something for the future then, maybe if I redo all my interior to get all the wiring routed.

Now that is amazing! I think mine will be a homage to that one as the basic design of the outside is the same - same grill, windows smooth rear etc so I just need that front splitter which Ive found and lower it. Wheels will have to wait as Ive done my back in and Chiropractors bills are not easy! Although I actually like the Davenport wheels that are already on
