Hello there. Not used that kind but I've got the push in button ones off eBay. They work great as they lock the doors shut when you push them in and when driving come in handy as the doors don't open and your contents ends up in the door well T:

Have you tried the hidden ones on any of your furniture?

Have seen them on built in furniture in a house but wondering why no one seems to have tried them in a van?

 

Be interested to see if the hidden ones work.

 

i ve got some in the workshop but you d need to put magnetic ones on aswell just to be safe *<>

 

Even though the first 3 in the link are magnetic?

 

check the weight off your door then think of going round a bend at 50 it has to be pretty strong go to your local kitchen suppliers and buy one there very cheap and try for yourself*<>

my mate used push door locks and it wasnt long before he had red wine all over his floorI:, he then fitted the push button locks like these and hasnt had a problem sinceI:

A good source of good looking and functional parts are from the boat industry, lots of clever ideas and solutions. If you think about just how much a boat rolls around and all cupboards and doors stay shut theres your answer. Lots of nice polished stainless electrical parts as well. Another good place to look is at the Custom Car scene once again lots of nice bits and pieces.

Hey Toby we are looking for something like this for our T5 as a removable pod, but with just the one door so that we can put a smaller sink and hob in as it will only be used at showsT: is this something that are able to offer etc

gotta agree on push catches for doors in the van,

they were my plan D, after originally wanting the doors to look unmolested, and i wasn't keen on them, i tried all the magnetic options, to no avail.

Option D is the best and only option to use, and work well.

 

Loft latches work well with a gas strut!

 

I have used the one 3 rows in off the bottom row they work well but they are not small and you have to place them right first time
they are made so that anything pushing on the door from the inside will not open the door. (that's why they have to be right first time) to open push on the door until they click
